Psychics, Clairvoyants, Mediums, Healers claim:
Many learned psychic have done their best to shed light on the origins of most divination styles and objects with various degree of success. I wouldn’t even try to place my slant on a fascinating subject like this other than to state my personal view on my site.
Psychic readings and divination objects have been around since human awareness began, at different times and places in history when making predictions were prominent, important and not only on a personal level but also for the affairs of nations.
There is recorded evidence in scriptures, philosophy and old folks’ tales about outstanding people providing premonitions, predictions and prophecies from all over the world. For example:
Famous mathematicians, philosophers, leaders, politicians, architects, teachers and other professionals were psychically inspired with inventions and new ways to do things and in so doing they inspired and changed world’s accepted perceptions (some paid with their lives for their discoveries).
Until recently the ability to read and write was the preserve of the few. Yet people’s desire and need to communicate was insatiable and what easier ways to do so than via pictures, symbols and codes.
Fortunately, now when someone states that they use their intuitive and psychic ability to reach a conclusion they may get some strange looks unless they can back-up what they assert. For example: ‘If a I overheard a pilot saying that they uses their psychic ability’ I will ask for my money back.
On the other hand, if on boarding an airliner and I am suddenly griped by very uncomfortable feelings, I’ll find a good reason to catch another transport mode.
The origin of psychics and tarot cards may have not been full explained scientifically. Nevertheless, (just as in days of yore) psychics still perform an important service for those seeking them out.
